River Riders is one of my favorite local (Eastern Panhandle) places to go when looking for organized adventure. We've never had a bad experience with the activities and the guides are tremendous - friendly, engaging, safe and always helpful.

Activities that we've participated in at River Riders:

• Flat Water Tubing

• Aerial Adventure Park
• Zip Line Canopy Tour

 

In addition to the activities above, our kids (boy and girl teenagers) both participated in their week-long outdoor adventure summer camps for multiple years. They always came home wet, dirty and full of exciting stories.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend River Riders for any of their outdoor activities. 

River Riders can get busy during the summer - especially on holiday weekends - and check-in can feel chaotic but once you get checked-in, the safety briefings run smoothly and the bus rides are what you'd expect a bus ride with a bunch of adults during summer to be.

Most importantly, I've never felt unsafe participating in an activity at River Riders and always come home with great pictures and video.

If you have an action camera (ie. GoPro), bring it. This is why you bought it.
