Historic park located at the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers

At the confluence of the Shenandoah and Potomac rivers, on the ancestral home of the Tuscarora and Shawnee people, lies Harpers Ferry. Here you can explore John Brown's Raid against slavery. Find your connection to the struggle for freedom, education, and civil rights at Storer College. Discover miles of trail in the Blue Ridge and along Civil War battlefields. The park grounds and trails are open year-round from sunrise to sunset. Park facilities, including restrooms, the Visitor Center, and exhibits, are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the exception of certain holidays.

How Much?
$0 - $20

$20 per vehicle for up to 3 days, $15 for motorcycles, or $10 per person.

Why We Went

Looking to get out of the house, we decided to visit Harpers Ferry to hike and explore.
